Not Much to Choose From

Another day, another dollar... not spent at Bloomies.
My first foray for Fall fashion netted zero. Why? Nothing looks good.
The interpretation of current trends hasn't been translated very well in plus sizes by most designers and Bloomingdales seems to have a knack for choosing some of the most dreadful styles this season to sell in their plus size department.
Purple people eaters hanging next to redundant Ralph Lauren, mix in the tackiest prints and you come up with...nothing.
I don't need to replenish my basic black, and it's a good thing too, because there aren't any decent black items hanging.
Who wants or needs a purple and black pop/op art print tunic?
Karen Kane looks good in missy sizing, but the choices either KK or Bloomingdales decided would work for size 14+ are so limiting when you review the entire collection.
Federated's own label, I.N.C., usually has some standouts, even when the line doesn't include styles that would/could work in a larger size, but again, as I said, who needs a shiny yellow and black graphic print vibrating on your torso?
The love affair with the eighties this season isn't making a big impression on me.
